Who are we?

Euro Car Club is the result of 10 years of growth from an assortment of dedicated volunteers, all driven with the common goal of hosting events that cater to all, from simple monthly meets to week-long tours across New Zealand.

As enthusiasts who prioritise people first, we rely on the help of our community members such as yourself to watch over regional events in your area and keep the community thriving in a positive way. Euro Car Club could not continue to grow and be successful without our dedicated community of like-minded enthusiasts.

Euro Car Club is supported by a small team of regional representatives who support and manage various events in their area, alongside the Euro Car Club team who run our online presence and communications.

Other Representatives

Ellerslie Car Show Board Member: Barbara
Vehicles: Mercedes Sprinter Camper. We recently sold our beautiful 350SL

Background: I joined ECC in 2017. In 2018 I went onto the Ellerslie Intermarque & Classic Car Show committee as the Mercedes Club had won the Teams event and were to be the host club for the 2019 show. The Ellerslie Committee then asked if I would stay on. 7 years later I’m still going strong, now representing ECC!

The Ellerslie Car Show is something I’m passionate about, bringing together all sorts of marques for a display of the best classic and unique vehicles there are. Getting new people to see, enjoy and hopefully be inspired to own something a bit different.

ECC Owner/ Admin: Stephanie
Vehicles: Honda NSX + MR2 and a small fleet of motorbikes!

Background: I first joined the ECC team in 2019 after buying my first euro: an E46 M3. I started taking a more club-lead role from about 2022 onwards and haven’t looked back!
My next dream car is either an Elise or Exige (if the price is right!) I do own a couple of Italian motorcycles though, so I still have something euro!

Our Story

We officially started on the 21st April, 2014, as a small group of mates. From there, things quite literally snowballed!

2014 - 2016

Euro Car Club NZ was born
Amber and her brother, Ryan decided instead of gate crashing one another’s car club events, to start their own that was all-inclusive to all European makes and models!
In a matter of months we grew from a few cars to hundreds!

2017 - 2019

Thousands strong, this time-frame was our strongest yet! We ended the year hosting our largest event, a mega meet at Eventfinda Stadium in Glenfield with over 400 cars!

2020 - 2022

The pandemic that hit mid 2020 saw all our growth come to a screeching halt. This along with many of the admins from earlier years having other priorities in life left ECC as a bit of a skeleton while we patiently waited for lockdowns to lift, and the public to be confident once more.
heading out of lockdowns we began to branch out into Wellington and Christchurch, which both now have become very major hubs for the club!
We also endulged in the cheeky (social distanced) cruise or two!

2023 - Present Day

The last couple years we’ve finally bounced back! We now have collectively over 15,000 members across all our social platforms, with our main page sitting at a very proud 10,000!
We celebrated our 10th birthday hosting a private day at Rod Millens Leadfoot Ranch, and hosted our first major tour which was just over a week long starting from the South island and touring up to the Coromandel!
We absolutely cannot wait to see where 2024 and beyond takes us!
